Job Description
Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s is expanding on a proven pilot project to enhance the equity and dignity of the emergency food assistance network. Under the guiding principle that our clients are at the center of all our work, FEED will improve access to food for San Diego’s residents facing food insecurity. FEED team is implementing a client database with our 500+ nonprofit partners. We’ve already integrated with more than 30% of partners and are working towards implementation with 90% to make food access easier.
Under the direct supervision of the FEED Supervisor, the FEED Coordinator performs a wide variety of moderately difficult responsibilities and specialized administrative and program-related duties in support of the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s operations, including: agency capacity and equipment needs assessment, training and assisting with intake form completion, providing software training and support, technology (equipment and software) troubleshooting, implementation support, conduct timely and accurate metrics reporting, participate in internal meetings, and sharing of best practices among nonprofit partners…
