New Report: Exploring Community Wealth Building in San Diego County’s Food System

The San Diego Food System Alliance is thrilled to share our most recently published report, Exploring Community Wealth Building in San Diego County’s Food System.

Now more than ever, community wealth building proves to be an essential cornerstone of cultivating a healthy, sustainable, and just food system and society. Community wealth building models—such as cooperatives, community land trusts, equitable food-oriented development, and employee stock ownership plans—drive social and economic transformation, and seed a movement to redefine structures limiting shared prosperity and the opportunity for all people to thrive.
